How do we earn our way into our child’s heart?  

Trust. We get access when they see we can be trusted with THEIR feelings.  

There are a few simple ways you can start earning your way into your children's hearts.

Are you ready for them?

1. Choose to be interested in what they are interested in. Die to your own agenda and what you want them to say. Instead, patiently wait to hear what comes out of their little hearts.  

2. Value them. Recognize that your kids are fascinating creatures with clever thoughts and insights to offer.  

3. If you feel you must give advice, ask permission. Saying something like “may I speak into that thought you’re having?” or “Can I share something that might help?”  

These little investments in your child’s heart can help you earn a safe and trusted place with them. You can start doing these things at any age. Even your two-year-old wants to be valued and cared for. We believe in you, parents! We believe you can earn your way into your child's heart. You can be a trusted voice of wisdom starting from their earliest years all the way until they are having kids of their own.
